This website shall inform about the legal options consumers have which received Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) under Copyleft and now want to exercise their freedoms. To this end, this website gives an overview of the relevant court proceeding. The website not only directs to consumers but also to manufacturers and vendors. This website shall contribute to compliance with the license terms and the ability of consumers to use their freedoms.
Consumers which received FOSS which was distributed non-compliantly have the option to turn to the copyright holders, too. Information about that can be found on the respective websites of the Software Freedom Conservancy and the Free Software Foundation.
